Post what you think John Isner could hit 40 aces on. I think he could hit 40 aces playing on the moon.

too bad it will never happen for him big time, like karlovic it's not just about the serve, you need to have an all around game

Isner doesn't have Karlovic's ability to bomb ace after ace. He does have a much better 2nd serve due to the kick he gets though.

Inser's baseline game is tons better than Ivo's IMO. Still not good enough to beat the top players though.

who gives a damn?. There´s no more boring thing than this kind of guys. I know americans love that style, but i hate it. Don´t like to play nor train with those kind of guys. Remove the freaking second serve and tennis would be great

removing the second serve is ridiculous. Would you want a person to win half their points because of faults?

Offense is nice you know if you see someone come in after a booming serve and actually puts pressure on an opponent. That is cool and breaks from the same old baselines in mens tennis that now seem to be I am to scared to try to hit a winner so I'm just going to wait until my opponent dies of old age on the other side of the court. I'm not saying all tennis should be hard serving quick aggressive points, but it should be a good part of it. Don't get rid of the second serve either cause on again why should we penalize guys who have worked so hard on serve just because You and a group of few don't like the big serve game. I personally hate defensive baseliners, bring the walls in from the court to only a meter and a half behind the baseline. Make them have to take it on the rise a bit more. But oh no what would all those skilled defensive baseliners who stand 2-3 meters behind the court do? Who knows I think it would make tennis great though. The rules of tennis are fine the way they are, we all have our dislikes but its not going to change the sport. I mean after all with the exception of the tiebreak its been rolling smooth for over a 100 years now.

Isner's forehand is huge and his recent success on clay shows his all around game is coming together. He's 24 but hasn't really played much pro tennis. I think he'll make a Wimbledon final by the time his career is over.

Anybody could hit 40 aces on the moon. The ball wouldnt slow down at all after you hit it and would take off into space after the bounce.

A 200kph kick serve into space would be pretty near unplayable

Cool Davy's playing Wimbledon? Will he still be injured though?

Isner could hit 40 aces playing on water.

Isner hitting 40 aces? That doesn't happen that often for him... more like Karlovic.

LOL mind you, if players were allowed one serve only, they would use what´s now the "second serve" right? and they usually hit only 1-6 double faults per match, no big deal. With wooden racquets, 2 serves, but tennis EVOLVED and it´s not necessary any more. Wake up
