    Hi,

I recently bought a used Juice 100 from Tennis Warehouse. I got it today, and balanced the throat on my finger, and it was almost parallel to the ground. It says 7 pts head light, however this does not seem likely as my FXP prestige MP tilts heavily towards the handle, also being 7 pts head light. Both are not customized. I'm wondering what's the deal with the Juice's balance point? There's also foam in the handle if that's important.

You don't test balance that way. The J100 is pretty headlight although I agree it does not seem to be 7pts. I added lead to both the handle and head of mine to increase overall static weight, which really seemed to improve it's overall performance.

Just for possible future reference, whereabouts exactly? I ask because I played the J100 for a few months until the end of last year, but had a hit with it again a few weeks back. Having moved on to the 99s and Blade in the interim, I couldn't believe how light and flimsy I found it stock.

I'd agree with that. Very easy to swing. I'd be adding lead too - principally at 3/9 and probably a small amount at 12. It's already has a spin friendly drill pattern, so any extra weight really shouldn't have adverse effects.

I added lead on mine at 3 and 9. Had some at 12 before and didn't like the feel of it. I played with the Juice on Monday with Luxilon Savage @ 61 lbs and it felt fantastic. I'm not sure about the head light numbers, but it definitely feels light through the air.

On a side note: I threw my racquet like 3-4 times on Saturday due to bad volleys. For some reason, my Speedport Black does not provide the feel I like. The Juice is the closest thing to that racquet that i've found. I really, really like the Head Extreme Pro 2 but it's just a tad heavy for my liking.

3 and 9 with the equal amount at the base of the handle.
