My son, 9 yrs old, is using a 25" racquet. Recently, I notice he will often hit balls on top part of racquet frame. His new string is showing more worn on the top portion. Does this mean he should switch to a longer racquet? If so, should I get him a 26" or an adult size one? any recommendations? Thanks

Depends on how tall he is\recent growth spurt. I would get him a tweener with a smaller grip

most 9 year olds dont need a 4.5 grip

and if he did, he wouldnt use a 25" because his forehand would take up the whole racquet
