Junior Sponorships

Discussion in 'Odds & Ends' started by STCTtennis741, Jul 11, 2004.

  1. I am 12-years-old and a pretty good tennis player (3.6-3.7). I just got back from tennis camp and all my friends had sponsorships from Babolat and Head. I could beat them. I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to get one. Thanks.

If you live in the states, you'll need at least a top twenty ranking in your section to get what is called a preferred player discount. In other words, you can buy a certain amount of equipment at what amounts to dealer's cost.

To get a full sponsorship, you'll have to have a very high national ranking.

If you are as good as you say you are, then you and your parents and your coach should contact your favorite racquet manufacturer and find out what it will take.

    Good Luck! David
