Just bought ALU and want to know if cheap syn gut for crosses would be ok?

I really don't want to use expensive strings for the crosses since ALU is already expensive enough for me. I use cheap syn gut ($3) a job so this is already too expensive already!

What do most ppl do with ALU? No one actually strings the whole racket with ALU do they?

    Tom,

If you go with a hybrid, I would use a basic syn gut. My preference is the Klip Synthetic Gut. Good string, great price.

Yes, I used Gosen OG Sheep Micro 17g yesterday... Generic but works great... I might use it with the ALU packs I have left over... You might want to use 16g though ALU is though on strings... it ll chop the heck out of that 17g, I herd people say the 16g tend to snap during stringing... Dont know... never tried that stuff...
