I just bought another stringer. It's an Ektelon Model D w/ the entire H upgrade package. It even has the tension arm handle that slides and can attach on either side of the tension head just like the Neos. Besides that, it came w/ stringers guides from 1999 and 2004 along w/ all of the industry manuals. It has the Neos clamps, the original clamps, and some in between. It also came w/ a nice floating clamp, a nice starting clamp, and an Ektelon tension calibrator.

The best was the cost; $100 + $10 in gasoline to pick it up.

The dilemma is I have a wife and now two stringers. There is no way I need both stringers. I'll have to keep the wife. I now have an Ektelon H w/ a shorter arm and a Prince P200.

    Which stringer to keep?

Unless you string out in the garage, I'll bet Wifey would choose to keep the Ektelon. UNLESS you told her ALL stringing sounds like the inside of a tire shop. :)

On the other hand, a wife who could string sounds awfully sexy! :)
What a great way to spend a romantic evening...side by side stringin' with your darlin' !!!

Sounds like a great buy. I think what I would do is sell the P200, see what I could do between the two I have left to see if I could use the parts to build the best H I could (plus you may have some cash from the P200 sale to get some new parts or assistance from tennis machines dot com if you need). Then I would see if I could sell what I have left from the cannibalized machine. Good luck.

My 12 year old suggested I get rid of "the noisy one." I sort of like the noisy one. It is fast but the old Ektelon could be made great if I bought David's upgrade to the swivel clamps w/ the money I get from selling the P200.

    Decisions-Decisions.
