Just found these in the racquet bag...

    5 brand new sets of Gamma Edge 20ga string. Haven't seen this in a long time. Used it one summer a long time ago. It's got a 20ga metallic main that looks like plastic coated twisted steel cable. The cross is an 18ga synthetic. As I remember, it was difficult to string, so I kind of stopped using it cause I was lazy.

    Anyone else use this string BITD?

    Wow that is quite a find. I do remember those. I never tried it.. I didn't want to subject my grommets to that wire abuse. But it's cool looking stuff. Post a pic of the sets for posterity!

    Like kevlar the mains have no elasticity or "give" to them.

    Those 20-gauge metallic mains also broke rather freely in play itself, surprisingly enough....
