So i just recently got back to playing again after a two year break. My groundstrokes lost power but i am still able to generate spin. Just wondering if my racket will be okay to use in getting back my game. It is a Pure Drive Gt with Luxilon M2 pro. Thanks! wish me luck in getting back my game.:)

Good luck! Two years isn't that bad. My break from tennis was almost 20 years!

I don't think the racquet will cause any issues. Let us know how you get on and if you try other racquets.

Welcome back. You can probably stay with that racquet, but do get it restrung.

Maybe start with some good synthetic/multi strings to bring some life in the power department for now and change when you get settled.

Unless you're a gear head who buys and keeps him/herself updated to please fellow court buddies, two years is nothing for a tennis racquet, especially if it's been shelved.

^agreed, the only thing it really needs might be a new OG, a new set of grommets, and an owner without anger or self confidence issues.

    That being said...

I LOVE MY NEW RACKET (Black Ace Mid) ;-)

I was able to get rid of anger management issues right now but the racket has been smashed a few times before without major cracks but the frame does not look good anymore.

I will be getting a restring in one to two months and i want to try out different strings. Preferably a arm friendly poly from Babolat, luxilon, or tecnifibre.
