Pro Supex make some cool frames, complete knock offs of frames such as the box beam Tour 90. I don't know how they play though.

Pro Suprex is trying to break into the market- giving a 50% sponsorship with more liberal acceptance requirements is the way they are doing it- nothing suspect or underhanded about that.

There are numerous posts on string comparisions and their product is fine-
There are a few posts that seem to be from someone working for them, but look over these string popsts- I don't think there is any systemic 'problems" with the strings-
They have product that matches up to "name brands" in each catagory and string dimension(s)- like for instance calling the stuff Suprex BANGER vs. Big Banger.

It is just that everyone playing is soooo.... particular about what they use.
I was offered same discount to play the string, got a couple samples as well.... if I did not have a sweet deal on strings now, I would have taken them up on thier BANGER stuff- worth a try for the money.

There is a site/ more information on STRINGSDEPOT. and they are selling some nice logo shirts at 4.99 and like 2.00 shipping (or so).

I got the half sponsorship also but I do use the string. The half sponsorship is 30-45% off. And any racquet is only $69. Reels of Blue Gear for $65 instead of $99 Any racquet $69. I have the whole price list but this is a example.

By the way I'm ranked 12th in my state and just inside the Top 100 in my section. If you want to use the products then go for it. If you just want the deal dont waste their time.

    Why did you apply???????

They offer a half sponsorship and a full sponsorship. The half sponsorship is 30-45% off not half off. I dont understand why Babolat15 would even try if he has no intention of using it and why if he is already sponsored by kirsh. Just playing games which makes it hard on the ones that are serious. What is only a limited amount of sponsorships are offred each year. You just got somebodys that deserves and wants or needs one. Thats just plain bad.

Stick to playing games on the court.

I am an old teaching pro and I love the Pro-Supex strings. I think the Premier Ace is especially nice. I don't intend to apply for any kind of sponsorship but if I had been offered one I think that I would use it. I really like their complete lineup with maybe the exception of the Blue Gear-good string, just not my cup of tea.

My understanding is that the Pro Supex premiere ace strings are the same as the Leopard Control strings sold by TW. My son got a sponsorship from Pro Supex and all their strings seem to be top shelf. The BlueGear is supposedly similar to Pro Hurricane Tour but maybe a little softer (the color is a bit much for me). Their Big Ace strings are rated pretty high in Europe.
They make a synthetic gut very similar to Prince synthetic gut w/duraflex that is very good.

They seem to be a good company to work with and their US supplier is very responsive.

Didn't you say you were sponsored by Dunlop? If so, how'd you get that if you're not highly ranked? Or am I misunderstanding?

I think i will recieve my aerogel 300's from them tomorrow. I was lucky enough to have gone to a place where dunlop were promoting their things and they offered me the deal because of the level i am in. I am getting better as i just got a coach now. My coach is awesome, he is teaching me how to play better and fixing all my problems. I am getting much better. I dont know the requirements as i did not ask. They just offered me the deal and it sounded really good.:p

why are you only on freshman team if your so good?

woodlands varsity isn't exactly impressive, you should be on it if your that good.

    and congrats on champing up.

Well we had tryouts at the start of the year, and i have improved a lot since then. Dunlop hesitated to give me the deal, but my dad told them that they promised us and they gave it to us. Woodlands Varsity is pretty good. Well the top 4 are really good. I think the lowest player is a 16's Champ. I will probably make varsity next year. But t is no guarantee, so i still have to go out there and try hard. By the way im not on the freshman team i am on the Junior Varsity team.

  41. I just got offered a full sponsorship from them, even though i $uck @$$. I don't get how they gave me a full sponsorship, even though i don't meet half-sponsorship requirements.

I was ranked 26 in Cal, at the time i applied for the Sponsorship.....
