My instructor(s) are offering us the k6-1's for $120. Supposedly, they're ordering straight from Wilson. Also supposedly, these guys have some kind of deal. I was reading on these forums about how bad Wilson's quality control is (ex. the weight of the racquet being 5 grams off and whatnot) and how TW will do its best to get you racquets approximating the specs on the racquet. Do you think these racquets will be close to their specs?

Wow! I once got 2 genuine HEAD Liquidmetal Radical midplus on the famous auction site. Both sticks came with stickers written "academic price: $14.95". $120 for a Wilson KSix-One 95... something's fishy.

How do you want us to answer this question if you are the one that can get/buy these rackets?

Maybe he is sponsored by Wilson and doesnt want to use the new raquets?
In anycase Yes k95s have quality control problems it wont be drastic but it is noticeable.

Just in general, how much can Wilson racquets be off? I've heard of them being 5 grams off, but how often is this? Are most a good deal off?
