I strung at 55lbs my kblade tour 93 with Kgut 16 and after 2 sets I feel my triceps sore and almost on 2nd I was scared of serving. I used NXT 16 before and didnt notice any pain at all. With kgut I can also feel more shock coming.

will the string losen up and be better or should I just give up on this string and move on ?

Doesn't look like Arm friendly string at all.

Well I've only been playing a few months, but I'm curious, how/why does your triceps hurt? I don't think strings should cause that problem but the only thing I've heard of, that causes pain because of the strings would be tennis elbow.

Its very well could be TE. NXT supposed to be stiffer than K Gut. But I had no issues with it.

Guys , I need more advice here. I lost an easy match due to the soreness on the upper elbow. I just couldn't serve at all after the 4th game.

My question is , Is it is becuase of the weight , stiffness or the string ?.

    Weight - 11.8
    Stifness - 65
String wilson k gut at 55

I do feel quite a shock during serve and sometimes with serve returns. Forehand and backhand no problem.

Did you string it yourself? How do you know you got what you consider 55?

I'm transistioning from a lighter racquet ( Dunlop 300 , 58 lbs ) to heavier racquet. Since this is 8 HL and more stiff , i thought copule of punds less.

Is there a recommended string tension for kblade tour ?. May be use the lowest ( 50 )

Soft strings on the mains and Poly on the cross 55lbs or lower! Also Pump Iron!

    bud,
arm pain is not caused by strings or string tension. it is purely technique or over exertion. the best thing to do is to get stronger and develop good form and not exert excessive energy/effort on a shot.
