I'm thinking of switching to a KBlade 98 from my current racket which is a n Pro Open. After hitting around for a while, I feel my strokes have more overall pop. What worries me is that using the KBlade, I can barely get any kick on my second serve. With the nPro Open, I used to be able to kick it really high but with the Blade, I'm having trouble generating spin.

Is this something to do with just not being used to the racket? (I've already used it for a week). Also, what can I do to try to maximize my kick on my serve? Would stringing with alu power rough, for instance, make a big difference?

hmm, if I'm not mistaken that's a poly hybrid. If u use something like blue gear, it should help you a bit, but in the end it's all technique. Maybe if you were using a full bed of syn gut, it would make a significant difference, but if it's poly I don't think it will. What kind of strings does the demo have? If it's not a poly, then I think you should be able to get more spin by switching to one.
