I have a J100 and I know it's a stiff frame but is it anything I can change(strings) so that it doesn't shread my shoulder. I currently use a hybrid setup. Syn gut main and poly cross.

natural gut at a relatively low tension is your best bet but expensive:)

lots of things that could be talked about, like did your shoulder pain start with the new racquet, has it to do with your technique maybe,....,

Yes it started with the new racquet. I have a Head PP and I can play with that thing all day.

quite alright:) i have no simple answer to your problem, only suggesting that you keep playing with the PP if you still own it.
might be the stiffness of the racket, might be the different weight?

Is it ground strokes or serving that bothers your shoulder?

Both. Yesterday I played half a set and as soon as I felt the shoulder hurting I switched racquets.

It would be hard to tell because the pain (I think) would be afterwards.

To the OP: EXACTLY what strings, and tension, are you using?
