How do fellow TTers keep the reels of poly strings they buy?

Does the temperature the're stored in affect their condition?

For poly, don't worry. A dark area without excessive temperature fluctuations is all you need. Cool, but not humid...

If you're really concerned about long-term playability, you can keep the reel in a freezer bag with the air evacuated. Again, not really necessary...

I wouldn't worry about poly unless you leave it in the back of trunk all summer. It will be fine for years and years if you leave it anywhere in your house p
