My friend went to bollatieri this weekend and got a chance to talk to kei. He asked whether he'd return to the tour. Apparently he seemed very determined to do so. Hopefully he gets back into the game

Is this the same guy who beat Ferrer in the USO 08? Fun match and player, if I recall correctly. Good luck to him.

Saw a video of him in the related vids section of some highlights someone posted in another topic

forgot how good he was, he won an ATP title on hardcourt against blake, youngest player to win a title since Hewitt in 98, made the 4th round at the us open beating Ferrer when he was #4 in the world in 5 sets he was also the youngest player to beat a top 4 seed at the open since borg in the 70s

its really too bad about the arm injury, he was only 150 lbs though and hitting the forehand so big, hopefully after rehab he can still get the same kind of pace on his serve and forehand

Nishikori to enter RG, can't wait to watch him on those courts. I think once he is healthy and playing regularly he's going to have some interesting matches on that surface. I remember reading that he likes to play on clay as well.

Razda, have you read anything about how his elbow (?)/body is handling the return to the tour? I couldn't find very much.

He decided to not play davis cup vs. Australia citing a leg strain I believe.

Yeah, there isn't much out there about Nishikori and how he went through rehab all the way 'til now. I did, however, found his facebook fanpage useful and Bollettieri comments about Kei on youtube quite good as well. My bad if I didn't help you much.

I like Nishikori! I saw him play at Indian Wells in 2009. He has a good game.
