    I would've thought they have some sort of immediate-release device, that can detach the ropes and the kite. Too bad... it's such a fun sport, but those guys there underestimated the strength of the winds!

    So, this guy was kite surfing in a tropical storm? And, are we *surprised* that he got hurt? WTF? Not exactly the brightest light bulb.
