    Has anyone tried this string? What do you like about them? What have you heard about them. Give Characteristics of this string.

    Well, across the top of this page are a series of menus. Click the one called "Search". Then, type in what you look for. That way, you don't duplicate what has already been discussed, and get what you want that much faster. See?

    Unless there's something you don't see covered already.

    It's my favorite gut, the one I use, and I've tried several. BDE is a little softer, but I really like the way Klip Legend feels. It also gives you good feedback and an excellent sound coming off the strings. VS is nice too, but not enough difference to justify the cost difference. Personally, I like the way Klip Legend plays over the VS anyway.

    Did they just increase their prices? I think Legend used to be 25 bucks.

    It is still listed as $25.99 on TW website. Perhaps you were looking at the newer and more expensive Armour Pro?

    How is the Legend compared to the Babolat Tonic+.

    legend is more crisp,stiffer, less pop, more durable than tonic

    I'd rather see you into a hybrid of Babolat's VS mains and a solid multi in the crosses. To me, BDE Performance is a reluctant second best solution. When you have to stoop to Legend, you're as well off with a solid "control" multi like TrC, and it will set you back less than half what Legend will.
