RICE. What kind of pain is it? Is it a stinging sensation, a dull ache or what? If the pain persists, you may want to consult and orthopedist...wish I had done it sooner.

well, not when I am getting the impression the previous threads have not been read. have you done that? there are lots of knee pain reports out there. if you want to neglect that advice, you're doing it at your own danger.

That's exactly what I told you with:

you should have done a search with
    knee pain
    search titles only
    at this site
    there are already several threads
    use the advice there
    very valuable

those were explicit indications as to how to perform the search.

    Anyway, check my posting at:
    Great fitness sites
    http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=33800
    the Knee Problems section
you should check those specialized sites and perhaps post there.

You might simply have a tendonitis, but it might be more serious, thus I'd suggest going to a doctor. The knee is a complicated structure and some of the diagnosis can't be done without X-Rays or MRIs.
