All three have great nutritional qualities. Has anybody tried them? I began a few weeks ago and will keep using them. Great for energy, detox and energy. Kombucha has a particular flavor, i drink the grape juice Kombucha, have not tried the tea.

I've read they can impair memory, causing people to repeat things.

How are they working out? Isn't it a bit risky to try all of them at the same time if you have not tried them before?

Wikipedia is not very supportive of any health benefits from them.

Kombu tea is really good, and so are the chia seeds.

You can have the best of both worlds by drinking GT Dave's Synergy Kombucha Green. It is Kombucha loaded with chia seeds.

    Tastes great!

I've tried the chia seeds in my sports drink during a match a couple times and it seems to irritate my stomach and make me feel slightly queasy.

Hopefully it did not lead to "immediate" detoxification :)

It usually takes at least several hours for dry chia seeds to soak up water and swell up to the drinkable texture and size. I usually put the seeds in water and let them sit over night in the refrigerator.

I wonder if you gave it enough time.

Has anyone tried alkaline water, deionized water, or reverse osmosis water?

They had at least couple hours and did swell up some by match time. I'll give it more time next time and see, but I'm wary of them for matches until I test them during practice or a workout.

Give it one more try, and if it doesn't work, I guess it's just not right for you.

No big deal, there are few hundred more "super foods" that you can try instead.

Many households have reverse osmosis filters, so that's no big deal. Just purified water.

I have tried alkaline and deionized stuff. In my opinion, it is just an expensive way to drink water. My mother was a health nut, so she had everything going at home. She usually persisted for about a year and then moved on to the next fad.

Stiil alive and no side effects, lol. These drinks have been used by decades.

I eat the acai fruit bars, They sell them in regular supermarkets, very high in antioxidants, its a type of berry.

Kombucha fruit juices. Kombucha tastes a bit like sparkling cider. I am a bit skeptical but I just drink small quantities daily. Has been used in Europe extensively and has many health benefits according to some articles I read and people I asked in the health store. I buy it in health stores. I would not prepare Kombucha tea by myself though, but thats me.

Horchata is very safe, They give it to women when pregnant when they breastfeed because of its high calcium volume, imagine if its safe. There is a place in McLeary Steet in Puerto Rico where they sell the best horchata in the world, its home made.

I have been brewing my own kombucha for a little more than a year. I haven't really experienced any miraculous effects but I'm a big proponent of fermented/bacteria-loaded foods in general.

The only Horchata I've had, which was in Spain, was very tasty, but contained a ridiculously high amount of sugar.

I suppose their are different vesrions of Horchata. The one I drank was very natural with no exageration in sugar added.
