Koubek beat Ferrero 7-6, 6-4 on clay? Is Ferrero injured again? Is he going to ever get back up to the very top (#1-2) of the rankings?

I'm waiting for 2005 on Ferrero. Still quite a fan of the guy. He might turn out a few months of superb tennis throughout the remainder of the year, but I'm not holding my breath yet.

I just hope he comes into 2005 in superb form.

Really disappointed in seeing that this morning. It looks like it's going to be this way all year... not sure how JC's going to turn it around before the Open. Maybe he should pull an Agassi and get himself ready for next year?

I think he's having fitness and confidence issues. At Wimbledon he looked like he had gone through 20 sets against Ginepri and was slow to move around. And the fact that he keeps loosing EASY since last U.S. Open final has not been good for his mental toughness.

I agree that he should take some time off to reflect on things......maybe just play one hard court tourney before the Open.

He'll come back Liam, for sure. As ohers have said, seems to be a matter of confidence.
