    Hi,

Does anyone here play in the KSwiss singles tennis league (www.ultimatetennis.com)? It seems to be mostly in FL and GA. If so, can you tell me how their ratings compare to USTA? I play 3.5 - 4.0 in KSwiss but don't have enough experience with USTA to determine where I should start out.

    Thanks!

If you play your pushing style I would start at 3.5. There are very few pure pushers on the 4.0 levels. The ones that are there are in very good shape and fast.

I think the K-Swiss ratings are slightly inflated--sort of like "resort" or "club" ratings. Also, remember--you can always play up, but you can't play down. Start out at 3.5. If you're really a 4.0, you'll have a fun season, and your teamates will all want to play with you. If you rate as a 4.0 and get blown out all season and can't get back down, it will be a bummer.
