Kudla just picked up 2 18 and under ITF tournaments this year.

Tomic just picked up 4 18 and under ITF tournaments last year.

    Both are 14

    Future?

Any time a 14 year old wins an ITF where 18 year olds are eligible is impressive.....but..............some of these ITF's have many other young kids playing. For example, Adelaide last month had a boys 64 draw with no less than 17 14/u's playing in it. Something like 40 of them were 16 and below. In this case it could be argued the field was relatively weak. On the other hand, a genuine 18 year old in Greg Jones lost in the final of a Futures event to Nathan Healey, a seasoned guy in his mid twenties who has quite a few ATP scalps. To me that's more impressive. :)

Tomic is still a few steps ahead, Kudla won two Grade-4 events and they don't necessarily have very strong field.
Kudla still needs to develop a weapon, which he may be able to do soon as he gets a bit taller.

Seen him training, seen him playing...good kid but these results from Mexico doesn't tell a lot. Maybe he now will get a WC to US Open and then we will know a lot more.

Tomic is 15 now btw.. I'm pretty sure he is. Turned 15 during the Aussie Open. I saw Tomic paly a bit... His feel for the game is great. great touch, just knows where the ball is going to go. He is all natural talent.

Did anyone hear about Carlos Boluda from Spain? He´s 14. He has been world champion and european champion of his category and has NEVER lost to someone his age or younger. He seems to be the next one from Spain.

Yea but weren't the itf tournaments that Tomic won pretty weak. I mean they were in like New Zealand or something like that.

And also what kind of game does Kudla have, I've heard about him many times, but I've never actually seen him play.

Yes, I've heard about Carlos Boluda as well. I remembered Nadal saying like he is the next big thing and that he could become even better than him(Nadal).
