I flew in from a cold weather state and witnessed 10hrs of tennis Sat, 10 more on Sunday. Where else can you get up close and personal and watch the finest tennis players do their thing?! 92 degrees, easy to get around, friendly staff, demos fr TW, total freedom to race from court to court. When you overdose on ground strokes the green lawn is perfect for a nap.

For anyone wanting to see tennis minus the mindless TV commentary Indian Wells is both a bargain and a lesson in just how good these players are. The worldwide tennis flavor is evident, who cares if they are Americans when the level of play is so intense.

Wonder how Indian Wells rates with the Nasdaq, French etc of those who are lucky enough to sample other tourneys?

If you have a chance to speak with anyone or or if there is a suggestion box or some such thing, please ask them to get a beter, live time (it's not) scoreboard like the Opens and many other tournament sites have for those who can't attend. The site should be examined for user friendliness (I can never remember how to get to the player interviews for example) & seems to be behind on their home page news.
