del Potro looks himself. Lacko, sadly, also looks himself.

And thanks LG. And ruerooo, I think that was more Wawa self-destructing than anything. Federer had a practice session.

That should be a nice doubles match.

I read a few interviews - Polito worked on everything else he could that wouldn't stress the wrist during his layoff.

It looks to me like he's serving bigger than before... 135mph is a good 5 or 6 mph faster than what he was doing in '09.

Perhaps he's had some serving lessons from Rafa.

for all this commentator's faults, i like this honesty.

whenever anyone plays ferrer, nadal, ferrero, youzhny and opponent ****s up badly, they always are like "oh, that was their movement they were afraid off etc" and i want to strangle them

40-30 is not ad-in. It is in effect, but they cannot be used interchangeably. Thank you.

The stamina is the challenge. Same as in 1R. Same as against Baggy in the AO.

They interviewed him after 1R and he said the wrist was hurting a little.

I have noticed the past few years at San Jose that the speed gun overestimates serve speeds. Or at least players seem to have some of their faster serves here than in other places on the tour.

second DF to give up set point. The famed mental toughness seems to have been channeled to Soderling as his replacement as the top 4 ballbasher.

It's not a mental toughness problem. The man is trying to whack 100+mph serves and forehands with a wrist it took the surgery on a year to heal.

That's ... kind of difficult. And painful.
