Please, if there is a God, make it stop. I cant take it anymore.
Same with the AOL commercial.
this should be a new poll, but on friday afternoon i am too lazy:
which is more irritating, the lacoste ad vs. "i've got the world on a string, sittin' on a rainbow..."
mercedies commericials as well. At least with lacoste they give us a hot chick to look at.
What kind of love have you got?
You should be home, but you're not
Don Henley is turning over in his, uh, bed. What a horrible rendition of "Victim of Love." Listen closely. Or don't!
yeah, they can play the commercial as much as they want. that chick is smokin hot
Her country western version of Victim of Love sucks though.
We have had it non stop since the French Open, at least she looks good and it's fairly short.
Natasha Thomas, singer from Denmark. Apparently she was only 17 when the commercial was filmed. I thought it was Jewel the very first glance I had of it. Doesn't hurt for the ladies to have Clement to look at, so the commercial is far less annoying than both of the AOL commercials and the Mercedes Benz commercial.
Bring back "Cooper" and Expedia!
The Burger King spongebob watch commercial with that nerdy guy trying to get with the cute girl is good though.
The AOL commercials are worse. Everyone in there look like fuc*ing retards -- check out this girl's face when she says 'all of them'.
I just can't stand it when Madison Av. try to humanize corporate culture in America.
I agree, the MB, Lacostel, and AoHell commercials are very annoying and repetitive. I usually mute it all between so I dont get irritated.
Nothing beats that Benz commercial during the US OPEN series. ARGH!
I DO love the Hungry Man dinner commercials though. Those are hiliarious.
"Hungry man, fried chicken dinner, you?"

Yeah, I'm still recovering from the pain of the "I've got the world on a string" commercials. At least the Lacoste one is less nasal, and it puzzles me to no end: what exactly is the storyline in that commercial? Is she pissed because Clement was at tennis practice too long? Does she live in a recording studio? Why are they then suddenly at the airport? And what does Lacoste have to do with anything? (I really thought it was a cell phone ad the first few times.)
As long as we're on such topics, did anyone else notice the Halliburton logo on the side of the main court at Houston this year?
I think the storyline is that Clement was playing at Roland Garros. The girl is a recording artist in New York, and they haven't seen each other for a while. So, Clement takes a cab to the airport, the girl flies in, and after a phone call to make sure he's coming, the girl and Clement finally see each other. Of course, both are wearing Lacoste gear.
Yes, I noticed the damn Halliburton sign. Doesn't surprise me. By far the most annoying commercial of the Masters Cup coverage is the US Clay Courts commercial featuring the dulcet tones (*cough*) of Jim *Mattress Mac* McIngvale. Ick.
PLEEEASE, turn down the volume on that Mercedes commerical!!! It is so freaking LOUD!!!! Everytime they cut from the relatively quiet match to the loud, nosiy music, annoying Mercedes commercial, I literally jump out of my chair (to grap the remote to hit the mute button). :x
yeah, these are the ones that really annoy the hell outta me. mainly the one with the mom listing all the services she would like.
So, like, where can you BUY any of the NEW Lacoste' gear?
Try the Lacoste website?
Yes, tried it, Lacoste has stand-alone stores. Meant Master-series gear.
the chick is cute and has a decent voice...but she's no Mandy Moore. 8)
Why do you guys call the line Lacoste....its called IZOD . Its just a generational difference....we used to call them Izod's back in the 80's.
I really felt old the other day. I was in an elevator and a group of young girls were giggling and talking, when one of them says :
"Can you believe my Mom calls them Izod"....that hurt.
Izod had a distribution deal with Lacoste back then -- in the US only. Not the same company, never was.
i knew it, someone will b!tch about the commercial like the benz before. be happy ladies, as long as they show tennis!
izod classic polo = $25
Lacoste Classic Polo = $85
any link for Lacoste's Classic Polo?
Izod doesn't have the 'gator.
Opps, price check. Lacoste Polo = $72
