Hey guys, I was wondering how the quality of these two brands compare. Especially the new Fred Perry 100 year US Open polo (the one Murray is wearing) On their website, it says the shirt is made out of 95% Nylon, not polyester, so does it wick sweat better than normal polyester shirts? Any replies appreciated.:)

My guess is the Nylon doesn't wick moisture better than poly, but has incredible feel. The Nadal polos up to the FO were made of Nylon and were real soft to the touch.

I sometimes wear Lacoste because I like the designs and dont like Fred Perry. There is one guy on these boards with a Murray avatar that has both and says for apparel quality the Fred Perry is better. For wicking performance, I havent experienced or heard.

I prefer Lacoste. What I have seen of the FP was not at all impressive.

Anywhere online to find Lacoste stuff at a cheaper price? I find their retail prices much too high generally..

I have the Lacoste Roddick FO Polo and it is very thin, but it doesnt wick moisture as much as I wanted. *But be warned when buying Lacoste, If you dont know the Lacoste sizes*

I want to buy Murrays FO and Wimby Shirts/Short.

I love Lacoste, but its just for looks to be honest. I wear it from time to time but it gets soaked quickly and doesn't dry that fast. Its garbage compared to the Nike line.

I dont know about the Fred Perry, I am most likely going to order one of their polos to just check it out. I love tennis clothes!

As for lacoste it all looks great together, I just feel more comfortable wearing something else. The new all black lacoste looks crazy good. Not the Roddick line, or Gasquet's US open 2009 shirt, its one for other sponsored players.

I can post pictures if you are interested :)

Roddick's Hat = The best tennis item EVER.
