    oh-oh.... ; )

Only three weeks??? oh well. Nothing that's good lasts forever. But maybe something gets screwed up in the meantime and the avatar gets fixed? you never know. Now, which one of you ladies is best friends with the mods/admins? ; )

The city really is amazing, it's become [well, several dutch cities, in fact] one of my favs... and I've seen quite a bit, as you know!

I'm not a coffe shop person, so I just stayed in museums during the day and in barsduring the night ..... : D. But really, I had absolutely amzaing weather -- they told me nobody ever saw such a sunny weekend in the last days of November! The sky was crystal clear!

Ok, the pics lie, sky was really this color ;)

eh... I wanna go back and ride all the streets on a bike again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I know.... my tennis suffers....

Eh ana if you happen to be riding on your bike around amsterdam on April too, which hopefully will be very sunny too  ,maybe we can arrange a meeting of the tennisholics! ; ) Maybe we can judge together if the dutch men are better than the dutch pros! ;p

Nah... it's not that bad. I just don't like two things about him:

    1. The overgrown biceps and all that comes with it -- extreme grip, the monster topspin forehand, the elbow-over-the-head-yummy-armpit-fully-visible shot finish....

    2. The fistpumps and all the rudeness that comes with it. I mean, I admire a killer instinct, but not when it's such a show-off in those sleveless shirts

Anyway, these two things add up to the fact that usually the only times I see a less in-your-face Nadal, is when he looks like this [IMG], and this is usually Blake's or Birdie's fault ;)

And I promise I will really like him when he loses to Fed in the RG'07 final ;)

and just for the record...i wish nike would take him back to this look..... no more baggy shorts! although, i could live with him going 'retro' - you know - the shorter shorts...

But seeing the Rijks and Van Gogh museums is an absolute must!

Yeah, it was, fun, I'm not really used to the fact that when you want to go out in the middle of the week, there are numerous nice places with live music to choose from....

That's a thought!!... I have good friends there who keep on inviting me all the time, so who knows.... And about the dutch men -- I liked them, but perhaps that comes from the fact that all of them seemed to be taller than me, hehe
And Sluiter is quite OK (except for the facial expression, but let's not be too picky), it's just that he doesn't look like a true dutchman

okay - so one disagreement - i do not think he is rude. every interview i have seen he seems humble and thankful for his place in the game. it is his passion that i see in the ferocity of his game (although not as smooth and beautiful as federer's). roger (who i do love) though, does have a lack of humility when interviewed. i mean we all know he's good... he doesn't have to tell us. he reminds me of that hot shot rich kid in high school who is good looking and knows it. i guess it's easy to form an opinion based on these so called sound bites we see on tv. easy to jump to conclusions when we know not the heart of the men we fancy. ;) okay- that's too many words without a post of the ones we admire

now, hoppie - love his regal profile...yeah, that's what i'm lookin' at. ;) but seriously - he reminds me of a prince charming in a childhood story? there just seems to be something very sweet about him....

Ah, do we disagree on the on-court rude demeanor part? I would never say he's rude in the press rooms [apart from saying stupid things about the Berdych incident, but that was already widely discussed here], I only dislike the fist pumps that he shows while on court. And THAT's precisely why I like to see him NOT fistpumping on court, I just don't think this kind of behavior

is really necessary to motivate yourself, and he seems a nice guy apart from that : )

So, to demonstrate that I don't hate him, I'll even post some pics:

legs for you!!!! [I think he has too much muscle on his thighs]

but, of course, it's all nothing compared to this:

maybe it is because i watch so much american football and his fist pumps are MILD to what those players do on the field..... it's all perception i guess. :D

and me a fan of the american football....i guess i like those muscular thighs too.... of course football (soccer) players have great muscular thighs as well!

I saw a pic of Rafa in jeans once, and he looked like his thighs were going to flood out of them, and I thought that no wonder he may want to hide that... and now, seeing that short shorts pic, I am almost sure that's why he prefers long shorts ;)

As you can see by yourself in this very own thread, of course. ;)
I think I haven't seen ONE shirtless pic in this thread. Very cultural indeed. I loved the pic of Rafa and Federer reading both Nietzche's Antichrist

    Ahhh, tennis and intelectuality :D
