Heheheheh I see you've done your job and really read the thread, down to the rrrrrrrrrr rolling! Good girl! Nice to meet you Nina, I'm Bette. Where are you from? Must be east coast from Errrrrrrrrnesto referance. Me too! Now we'll be watching old matches all day until the storm passes. I'm in a DC suburb and we still have a light drizzle. Think the storm is heading off the coast of NY now so we may get lucky later today! Anyway, looking forward to Safin/Nalbandian later and of course, Moya/Blake. Kiss Kiss babies!

Hmmmm really like the dark hair/dark eyes. He's not Spanish, but he'll certainly do! Heheheheh. Has anyone checked out Spadea's book yet? Hear it's NOT a big hit with some of the players, especially Blake. Supposed to be expose style I guess. Guess he's not making enough $ actually playing tennis, so he'll write a bunch of dirt about it instead. Any feedback?

Don't worry Ivy, you're not alone! Baby is playing Blake tonight! What am I going to do? You know that I want Carlos to win, but I don't want Blake to lose either! Could this be the first match that both players win? Am in heaven today. So many good quality matches. Agassi/Becker starting in a few minutes. Looking forward to Safin/Nalbandian too! I know that everyone is physched up to see Agassi keep going, but I'm not sure I can support this with all of the medical intervention that's been needed to keep him upright. When does enough become enough? Just heard he had ANOTHER injection this morning before his match with Becker. Is this right? Even if it is, what kind of permanent damage is he doing to his body to feed his ego? Hasn't he had enough adulation? Sorry, just thinking out loud.

Bette, I live in Fairfax, in Northern VA. Good to see fellow DC suburbanites here (you and Topaz). Maybe we can see each other @ Legg Mason Next year! Errrrrrrrrnesto was actually really bad in my parts; usually when it rains hard I say it was like a tropical storm out there and this time it actually was!

What a good week for hot tennis babes!

This is what I'm looking forward too:

    [IMG]VS.[IMG]

Hopefully, we'll see a repeat of AO '05:

Legg Mason next year would be good. Unfortunately, most of my fav hot Spaniards don't come. Sorry to hear you got blasted by Errrrrrnesto. We got off ok this time. In June my basement flooded twice! Sucked. Just got a lot of drizzle. I'm 1 street off Beach Dr and of course, that was closed but the tree damage was minimal. Yeah, it's good seeing locals on the boards, especially ladies with excellent taste in tennis babies. Looking forward to Carlos and James shortly. Have to suffer through Shriekapova first though! Keep the faith. Vamos Carlos! Rooting for Blake too..this is too tough;)

Blake v. Moya...... ahh this reminds me of Baggy vs. Aggy!
I wanted them both to win!

Zhan, don't come in here just to start stuff.

here's a pic of your beloved 'dawg' to keep you satisfied.

We share the love in here!

Your so lucky you have cable!! The price for cable in VA is so extortional! I had to settle for Verdasco/Roddick on CBS (not suffering in the looks department however). I really wanted to see Berdych/Tursunov or Murray/Gonzo.

    p.s.

    This thread will never die!!!

I've only got basic cable, but yeah, it would so suck if I missed Moya/Blake. It's going to be awhile though. The day session is still going. S Williams is on Ashe now, Mauresmo is on Armstrong. Think Shriekapova follows Williams, them MY match. Going to be a long night.

    but what I wanted to do today, is to promote polish tennis a little;
unfortunately, Kubot lost in third round today, but he still deserves to be seen:

speaking of kubot, I figured we have restricted ourselves to the more known players only; and yet there remain numerous hot tennis players to be pictured... so I wnated to propose an "unknown handsomes" (or not-so-very-known handsomes) theme.

Arvid Parmar. Anyone heard of him? and yet he is sooo interesting, IMO.

    ^^^^^ LOL

I do think Djokovic is a good looking guy, but he kinda reminds me of the over cocky jerky high school tennis dudes, and I heard he has a horrible attitude after he loses. Hopefully, he will mature! Parmar's pretty smokin' too!

Hey DC gals...I'm definitely up for Legg Mason next year. I went to every session but one this year, and even though it was a billion degrees, I loved every minute of it!

And, I love the 'unknowns' theme...maybe someday they won't be so unknown?

I read your recaps every day! How sad was the Wash Post coverage for that? Half a column a day? Pathetic! I love how all the pros complained about the humidity. You mean they didn't like the feeling of being in a swamp? That's what summers in the city are all about! Anyways, did you do a package deal or did you buy individual tickets for each day. If you did get a package deal, did you get the Box Seat, Gold, or Silver package? I heard it was kinda empty on a few sessions, so you could 'upgrade' your seats by moving to some better ones.

Hmmm... about the unknowns, first I have to find some! I like this Idea, though!
