I'm looking at TW's catalog, and I don't know which lead tape to choose. I'm n00b, so I have no idea. Which is the best and most versatile to choose?

3M #420 seems to be the best, but is hard to come by. The lead is of course the same, but weight/inch can vary a little, and quality of glue do seem to differ. The remarks at TW give you some clue, do read them.

depends how much weight you want to add on. if you're adding on a lot of weight you might want to try the babolat lead tape because it weighs more per inch than the regular kind. i don't like to have babolat logo, so i calculate the difference in what i want to add and put a strip of regular gamma lead tape over it if i'm adding a lot of weight.

The GSS site has the 3M lead tape and it has been praised as the best available lead tape.

TW is a little misleading. It is not 3m tape. The 1/4" and 1/2" is made supplied by unique.
