do you have to add weight to the handle of the racquet if you add weight to the hoop?
There is NO OTHER WAY!
are you trying to keep the balance of the racquet similar? if you are, then yes you need to add tape to the handle. if not, you can just put lead in the hoop which will result in a more head heavy racquet.
If you want a head heavy racquet you don't have to. However, if you are quite experienced and can produce racquet head speed on your own then you MUST add lead tape on the handle too.
Otherwise, add lead tape to the center of balance of the racquet and you're fine.
Just adding lead to the hoop makes a racket head heavy while adding lead to the handle makes the racket head light.
Depends how much you add...I have lead on the hoop with my POG Mid...becuase it was more headlight than my old racquets and it volleys better now.
You don't have to do anything regarding equipment and/or customizing. In terms of customizing with lead, though, I think you should experiment to find what works best for you.
To clarify, if you don't, your racquet EXPLODES!!!
haha you like to freak people out dont yah
NOT TRUE!!!! Your elbow EXPLODES!!!! jejejejeje.
As said above... if your goal is to make racquet head heave then you don't add any lead to the handle, if your goal is to make the racquet heavier without changing the balance then you have to counter the weight by adding lead in the handle... remember than even small amounts of lead at the 12o'clock position drastically changes the balance to Head Heavy...
I think the OP wants to find out what the majority of people are doing, so he can jump on that same bandwagon, whether or not it will work for him.
Hmmm....yea....but feel is a very subjective thing. And he did ask if you have to. Thus why some people are mocking the post.
