I just purchased the ig speed 18x20, coming off of a love affair with the speed 18x20. I read however on tw that there are concerns over the lack of mass in the hoop. So my question is will I probably need to lead it up, and if so what positions should I try? One last addition piece of info, I used the speed 18x20 in stock form, no lead.

I added a Wilson Hybrid leather grip and put 7 inches of quarter inch lead at 3 and 9 and then 9 inches at 12. Works really well.

Novaks sw is around the 360 mark. Thats pretty hefty. I would try it in stock form before jumping to mods. The IG really does change the playability of these sticks. Loving mine.
