From 2 years ago: Babolat Pure drive Team (standard) strung with babolat VS gut and Babolat polymono and lots of lead on his racket.

I strung some at Wimby last year. IIRC ericsson is right on the string, while the tension was 52lbs.

I wish I could find my list of players & tensions.

    Regards

Ok, on the pictures it looks like he plays the Pure Drive+ .

Please could you tell me, which exact strings and tensions he plays the last time (maybe at the French Open...)?

    http://www.racquettech.com/cgi/pro_logs.cgi

Where can I buy his black replacement grip, on the Pure Drives are only the white grips?

    Thanks

he uses Alu power mains, vs crosses. Judging by the picture the mains are strung at 49.2 lbs, crosses at 51.1 lbs. You can't put a black grip on a Babilat unless you are a pro doubles player. Babolat has police for this.

    Harsh, but very funny!
Athough he could use a dunlop black grip but who knows if the racket would accept this transplant or just reject it.

1.) Which VS Gut plays Leander, is it the "VS Touch" or "VS Team" and which gauge?

2.) Which Alu Power plays he, which gauge?

3.) Please only tell me, in which only store could I buy his black replacement grip.

    Thanks!

It's a Pure Drive Team painted to look like the standard. With Babolat VS Gut and Babolat Polymono. The same as what people told you two years ago...

Hi All - dusting off this thread again! I was at Wimbledon last Monday and saw Martina and Paes playing; I'm a big Yonex fan and have noticed she uses the Ezone DR racket now (100? 98?) He however was using something really cool looking - basically an all-black Yonex; so very similar looking to hers, with the squished head, but in a Stealth black colour scheme.

Does anyone know if this is a new racket about to hit the shelves, or what it might be?

I'm also interested. I heard Paes had a completely rounded grip but not anymore since his racquet switch. Just curious to know what positives there are for a completely rounded grip as I've never played with one and can not fathom. If anything I'd be more inclined towards a squarish/rectangular one.

Thanks, so basically better volleying then and suitable for doubles play, I'm guessing.
