One of the KEYS to getting better at tennis is to find better partners and playing better players at tournaments.
You will never improve if you hit with the same guys all the time, your peers.
I mentioned quite a few of my practice partners when I was merely a C player, or 3.5. Yes, they were better than me, mostly 5.5 women. But that's the only way to really improve.

Anyone know why the Cheetah hitting thread was locked?

It was locked? Darn. Everything was fine until you know who just had to show up and peddle his methodology again.

Too bad, that thread was awesome. Maybe there was some copyright infringement with the Safe Targets discussion?

This thread is good too. Lots of posturing and insults. Very enjoyable.

I agree. It was enjoyable. Some people can't take it but I like it.

5263 is ranked a 7.0 when it comes to getting threads deleted or blocked.

He's been on this forum for 5,6,7 years? and hasn't posted a video yet. Maybe we can persuade him to provide a video of him serving (or getting served) at burger king perhaps?

Are you referring to the first vids? I had physical issues those days.
This is the lastest vid where I was just starting to get healthy again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Quqz5YB5Fc4

I made a vid today too as I'm am back to healthy again but my other partner (different guy) didn't want it on youtube so I'll have to post another time in the near future.

my partner, rkelly is good. as i've said before it depends on who's playing better that day. he's usually more aggressive than he was on that day.

I'm in the far court btw in case you got mixed up.

Based upon that video, there is no amount of time you could spend that would get you to the "ATP level". I'm sorry.

I reached the ATP level in the early 80s but then I mastered break dancing and left tennis for a lucrative urban influenced dancing career.

I thought it was going fine. I think there must have been deleted posts I didn't see because I can't see why the thread was locked.

Served an ace yesterday (down the middle). I am trying to recall the magical combination which caused it. It is the most awesome feeling in the world.

Remember, I gave you almost the highest rating of anyone on here, I gave you 4.5.
You last vid, same thing. RKelly is the nicest rally partner ever, hitting within one step to you EVERY time.
YOU, OTOH, make him run up to 5 steps whenever you need to move even 1.5 steps to the ball.
RKelly, you are the absolute nicest guy ever posted in a vid here at TW.

No disrespect to rkelley, but that isn't true.

This honor goes to TomT, IMHO.

TomT is trying to win points, as he should playing sets.
RKelly is a ball feeding machine for Cheetah, which earns him "nice guy" award.

Marina is also a nice guy and good sport, and I think I'm also pretty high on the nice guy list too. mad_dog1, Phrygian Dominant, and DNShade are also all nice guys who I think should be up there.
