Just moved to Leesburg, Va from Florida a couple weeks ago. I'm a 4.5 player and am having a very difficult time finding someone near the same level. Looking for a solid 4.0 or higher. There has to be some good tennis players here since this city seems very busy. Anyone out there let me know. Thanks.

FYI - Here's a thread of players in Northern VA, Maryland and DC.

    http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=130010&page=1503

IIRC there's one guy in our group (TW Name: Mclovin) who's out near Leesburgh and plays 4.5.

I jusyt got bumped to 4.0 myself and I live out in Herndon, VA.

IMHO, your best bet is to get connected with some USTA teams out your way.

Also try USTA find a partner - I was able to find about 40 players on the 4.5-5.0 level within a 15 mile radious of Leesburg here: http://findapartner.usta.com/

You may also want to check out the Ida Lee Tennis center out in Leesburg, I don't know if the have any players lists. http://www.leesburgva.org/index.aspx?page=100

It was my bad, I read the states backwards! You will have much better luck in that Leesburg.

In Leesburg your best bet is Ida Lee. A bit down the road is the Ashburn Sports Pavilion, with lots of programs and pros (and players) as well. In fact, I'm hitting there this afternoon!

PS...I think McLovin is in Woodbridge, VA, which is south of DC.
