Hello, does anyone use home squeezed lemonade as energy drink? I'm no nutritionist so I wouldn't know. I think it'll be refreshing?

Currently I'm drinking one bottle of Nuun for every 3 bottles of water. Nothing to complain about Nuun, but would like to switch it up once in a while.

If you found the extreme sour taste "invigorating" then I guess it would be as good of an "energy" drink as anything else. Not all that different from using the "buzz" of caffiene as a psychological boost to make you think you have "energy".

Probably not a good idea. Conditions such as stress (increased cortisol release) and exercise (diversion of circulation from GI tract to skeletal muscle) tend to make the stomach lining vulnerable to erosion from acids, causing gastritis or worse. Citrus beverages are all acidic.

Lots of different citrus flavored drinks for bicylists, including pro bikers...cyclists, peddle kind.
