I just tried out a full poly string job for the first time, and i LOVE the crispness, but it's a little too powerful for my taste. If i put some synthetic gut in the crosses will it make it a little less powerful, while still being nice and crisp? or should i just stick to it, and get used to the extra power.

BTW i'm using Pro Red Code 17g, and would use Tecnifibre Synthetic Gut 16g

IMO . . . If you cross a Poly with a SG, you will get a softer stringbed. Gennerally a softer stringbed feels like it has more power.

Suggestion . . . Red Code 16, or a change to something like Pro Hurricane, for a stiffer feel.

Did you try stringing higher? Also I would look to your hitting technique
