If you have been on this forum for the last 2 years, you would know that Djokovic has been lucky with his draw ALL THE TIME.

    No different this time.

Dodig, who is the seeded player is out, Delpo who was his potential QF opponent is out, Berdych who was his potential SF opponent is out.

The toughest guy he will meet before the final is Tsonga and Cilic..

wow what a joke draw for him!

For Federer, he will meet Nishikori/Haas, then Anderson, then Wawrinka, then, Nadal.

Just look at the draw now and see who's lucky all the time.

Haas has tougher draw than Fed. Chardy-Nishi-Federer-Wawrinka-Nadal/Murray-Djokovic.

Falla probably has the toughest draw of all: DelBonis-Janowicz-Raonic-Murray-Nadal-Wawrinka-Djokovic.

Federer's draw is harder because of a lower ranking.

But Djokovic has an incredibly lucky draw in this IW.

Does Djokovic's draw make you angry with him or with the ATP?

not just this IW but for majority of the season.

how many times did he face Murray at Wimbledon? Federer at Wimbledon?

I should compile all his draws for the last 3 years and show everyone how lucky he has been with his draw.

It's amazing how he can't even hold his ranking for any longer with this type of draw everytime!

He can't be blamed because other top players, like Berdych, cannot beat journeymen in early rounds.

It doesn't matter. Djokovic had an easier draw in the AO and he fell to Stan in the quarters.

Robredo, Dimitrov or Gulbis can give Novak a good run. (Yes if he lost to Haas in Miami last year then Robredo can equally give him a tough time)

Nole has had some very tough draws over the years, but in the last six months or so, he's had some very fortunate draws, capped off by this IW, which is probably the most laughable draw I've even seen, except if he runs into Dimitrov.

That said, it doesn't bother me in the slightest. Unlike the other Loose Change/Truther/Birther lunatics around here, I don't think it's anything other than "the luck of the draw." He got very lucky.

Just like Nads last year avoiding the 2 best HC players Djoko and Murray, getting to play the guy that played and beat both and was clearly fatigued doing it? If that's what your suggesting, no its not that lucky of a draw but close...

    wow Tsonga out.

and for those saying Dimitrov will be tough..

he will meet him at SF.

and what was Dimitrov's best result in IW? Did he even reach QF in ALL 1000 masters?

this alone tells how lucky Djokovic is.

I dont know a draw is a draw. It can open or close really quick. I guess I cant get upset about them to much. They are what they are.

You're right but it seems like the OP is angry with Djokovic for the draw opening up, like he somehow had some kind of control over who plays who. You can almost feel the hatred seeping through his posts, kinda sad really.

Frustrated would be the word, I think. But that's the case for everybody. How many times do Federer fans complain that Nadal always has good draws for example? Tennis fans want the best draw for their favourite player and the most terrifying draw possible for their biggest rival. When it's not the case, they fulminate.
So, what do you expect in this tournament? Nadal and Djokovic are 1 and 2, one of them has an awful draw, the other one a super easy one. You can expect some frustration coming from Nadal's fans here.

Djokovic' has an easy draw. Sure. It's opened up even further. Sure. Has he got a free ticket to the final? Of course not.
Cilic is possibly the most in-form guy since the AO - he has him in the 4th round (the toughest 4th round opponent you can imagine). Gulbis/Dimi can also take out anyone on a good day.
But yeah, he's been a bit lucky this time. That happens. But it's just another Masters, not a slam. Move on.

Oh - and btw, his so-called easy draw in the AO turned out to be less easy (as some of us foresaw) as Wawa turned out to be the toughest opponent in the draw. Will Cilic or someone else do the same here? We don't know, but he can.

You go ahead with the compilation. You will see Djokocic only started to get easy draws since AO14. Up to that point it was Nadal who had been getting the easy draws. In fact all of Nadal's non clay titles have something to do with the help of the draws.

In the Fedal era (03-10), djokovic was pretty much guaranteed having to play both in a slam. I think it will need many cakewalk draws to even out those tough draws.

And how hard is Ralph's draw gonna be now that Murray seems to be heading home? Federer isn't beating Nadal at this age, so basically Ralph has a free pass to the finals unless Wawrinka beats Fed and turns in another AO 14.

If Cilic loses tonight i will be convinced that Djokovic practises witchcraft or is really REALLY good at bribing people in secret. So many big seeds fell in his half and now the seeds are falling in the other half. At this rate it could be Fognini v Djokovic for the final
