    I want to make my 4 1/2 feel like a 4 3/8 + OG

Should I just put on two overgrips?

If you're only going down one size, so to speak, I would try purchasing a somewhat thinner replacement grip (not an overgrip), such as the prince replacement grips (they seem to be a tad thinner than babolat grips for example), and then make sure you wind it on a bit tighter.

Slightly thinner replacement grip + tightly wound, will bring your grip down enough to do what you want. Certainly, worth a try before you start reaching for a file.

laserfibre has a pretty thin replacement grip. that should help reduce the grip size.

I'm gonna try out TWs 1.3mm leather since TW doesn't carry the laserfibres anymore.
