Anyone know the specifics?
yep they are made in china
^ Thanks for the insightful post.
String, gauge, tension anyone?
IIRC, and from Wimbledon last year, it was Pro Hurricane @ 64, and Xcel @ 62 with 10% prestretch. Can't confirm what she's got in there now, but she was particular about string set-up so I'm guessing its not changed much.
Wow that sounds like an arm killer in that Babolat.... ouch !!
So she changed it. Some years ago she was using full Xcel.
Has anyone seen any upclose pictures of her playing this AO? I don't think I picked up any Yellow String on her racquet.
Edit: No yellow string on her racquet.. should it be safe to assume its XCel ?
Pro Hurricane Tour is yellow...Pro Hurricane is either natural or blue. Same hybrid advertised in the Ballot we are pure driver ads that I've seen in Tennis magazine.
^ Oh right. I didn't catch it when he meant to say only the regular Pro Hurricane, not the Tour version. So I'm going to assume nothing's changed and its a PH/X-Cel Hybrid.
When I strung for her in summer 2009 it was full Xcel at 63/61 with pre-stretch.
I saw some TV footage yesterday at AO before her match and she was with some Chinese kids all wearing Solinco shirts and hats.
Maybe something happening there.
I found this site with more info on those chinese children you saw. If you can read chinese that is. http://www.tennis.ifeng.com/
