is head still only releasing 5000 of these rackets or do they plan to release more?

the only reason i ask is i just went to my pro shop yesterday that's pretty small, and they have about 5 of these rackets and im sure TW got a handful of them....so is this something that's going to stay limited in production or is its production going to be continued?

I'm also a bit suspicious about Head's claim of making only 5,000 for the entire U.S. market since every retail outlet (including all the usual web sites) seem to have them, and even a very tiny pro shop I went into last week had like 10 of them on the wall. On top of that, TW did spend the time to do a review on this racquet while at the same time passing on the PK Redondo due to its "limited availability". Something just doesn't seem to add up to me.

yeah, i was also thinking about why they would do a review...TW also hinted in the thread about the redondo review that the 5000 might not be legit.... but that im sure will **** off buyers because they spend $180 thinking they're getting a piece of history, when it's actually your everyday racket.

i went into a store by me (Canada) and they had 4 of the limited edition Agassi OS's. They were all numbered in the 12,000's. which is strange because according to TW the worldwide supply was only supposed to be 9,000 racquets. i'm seriously considering returning mine.

HEAD confirmed with us that only 5,000 would be available in the US.

We currently do not have any Redondo stock in either headsize, so even with this being a limited racquet, we have better stock. As for the Redondo, it is hard to review a racquet when there's not one in the warehouse to be pulled for hitting! Our next shipment of Redondo racquets is scheduled to arrive 12/14.

The Limited Radical plays great and in my opinion is currently the best Radical on the market. After our core group hit with an early sample, we were so impressed we put the racquet on the playtest list.

TW, Do you know if this new A.A. Limited Edition Radical Tour 260 Oversize has Twaron in the lay-up like the Origianl Radical Tour 260 that was made from 1993 to 1995?

    maybe it's 5000 (US) + 9000 (worldwide) = 14,000 (total) ???

otherwise, how could we have 12,000 plus serial numbers ?

if you read what TW has on the product description page that is NOT the impression you get. clearly states 9,000 worldwide.

im still convinced this is the same racquet they were selling a few years ago at major sport stores trying to unload them for $50 a piece (repainted of course)

No PK rfeviews please. A company with such miserable distribution and availability does not merit any publicity.

in the defense of these raqs ...based on tw reviews. they state (in a round about way) that the lim ed is better than the pog.. (my two references are the m speed 105 review and the Lim ed. review) i actually would like one to try (maybe when they come down to $50 again ;P
