I am considering entering my 11 year old in a Little Mo tournament in April. It would require an 8 hr drive and a hotel for 3 nights. Is it worth it?

We did it last year, but opted out of traveling to Texas for national (conflict). Good event, nice ladies and for a good cause also (Tax Ded). Kids loved it and we drove 3hrs. 8hrs is a hike but hopefully in a city you can find other things to do.

Great tournament, great experience. My kids played 8, 9, 10. We live in Socal, but traveled to Georgia for the nationals.

If it's within you budget, great way to spend some quality time with family.

Little Mo is a great experience for the 8,9 and 10 year olds as it is the only opportunity for any sort of national competition. I would not bother as an 11 year old as there are plenty on regional and national opportunities in the 12 and under.

Other then the Zoo this was our favorite tourney hands down , if you can play it do it . Playing the Zoo was great as and older kid this one is great for the younger kids.
