    anyone here think so?
    I do

it just seems that ljubicic has no on-court presence when he's playing
he's just boring for some reason
yes he has a good backhand and serve but he just doesn't seem to give off any spark or get fired up....ever

he's probably a nice enough guy but on court he just isn't exciting

It's tough to see much of him these days since he is being dismissed from tournaments so quickly.

Most boring player in the top 5 that I can remember. Thank god he is out of it hopefully to never be found again. His game is ugly too, I have never seen such a creepy looking forehand.

Yes, he is very boring. All he does is play excellent tennis and he has no hair. He should be fined. That man fills me with ennui.

Boring boring boring. So boring I never bothered to watch his matches. I even failed to realize he dropped out of the top 10 because I never kept up with him.

That's very true for his 2007 season. But, for some reason I prefer some players with explosive games, that shows little to no emotions on court, similar to Davydenko.

Yeah the guy is boring. Looks like a typical touring doubles player.

Just goes to shows the paucity of talent that exists today in tennis.

    He's our Boris Becker!!!!!!!!!!

I agree about the lack of an on-court presence, I noticed a while ago that's exactly why I find him boring as well, very little energy out there, so sluggish. It's even worse when he plays poorly and slumps his shoulder getting way too down on himself as if playing tennis makes him miserable. It's ok watching him when plays well though, but I can't stand his body language when he's not.

Davydenko doesn't outwardly show a lot of emotion but you can still tell the intensity he puts into his matches with his court coverage and the way he steps into the court.

Some of the best tennis I've seen in the recent years came from Ljuibicic in Madrid against Nadal, a couple of years ago. He lost at the end, but played two sets near perfection. Amazing.

No way he's boring. He's got great technique. If you guys can't appreciate that because he ain't flashy....

    not referring to flashiness
it just seems he doesn't give off any positive spark or energy on court
the same could be applied to Davydenko

Appreciating something is different from enjoying it. I can appreciate all players for the skills they possess.

So, all even that match proves is he is a choker with no backbone. Another strike.

Also would you call that yuck forehand great technique, LOL!

Egghead's days are done. For a couple of years there he was top 5 stuff. I always thought he overachieved because he didn't move well and had a terrible forehand. But the serve and bh made up for it. I can't really pinpoint his decline other than that he was a hot run there for a couple of years and is finally coming down from it. I don't care for his game and most importantly his personality.

That's my point. Nowadays he's our Boris Becker. What a sad state of affairs!

Back in the day, we had Mac, Becker, Edberg, Chang, Courier, Lendl, Mecir, Cash, Wilander, Noah, Connors, Agassi, etc all playing at the same time.

No we have Lube Head and Jock Itch and Butt Picker, and Metro Man, Steroid Fat A s s, Tatooed Arm, and Bag over my Head.

Yeah better known for their steroid use, stomach fat, egg heads, $2,000 haricuts, finger positions, and impressions than for their actual abilities on court and yes charisma.

Federer's game isn't boring but knowing that hes the favorite in every tournament he plays in makes it boring and predicable.

Ljubicic has a a potent serve yet cant play on grass lol.. Infact he always chokes in the big tournaments. Guys like Ancic have way more talent then Ivan.
