Long overdue if you ask me but still a very decent career.

Man.,..only 33? For some reason he seemed alot older than that. He was a solid solid player.

    All the best to him

He's been bald since I remember. In fact, I think he's so bald that he never had hair in his life.

One of my favourite players. He'll be missed. It's always sad when your favourites retire, but I agree, long overdue.

Yikes, all the fun ones to watch are dropping like flies - so Gonzo and Ivan will retire in weeks of each other.

Good grief it will just be grinders left before you know it.

Anyone know why he has announced this suddenly? He was scheduled to play IW until a few days ago, then dropped out. Its strange as IW has been his biggest success on the tour.

Aww, it felt like he'd always be around. He had a baby girl born recently.

never been a fan but he was always a respectable player and in 2006 I believe he was in great form.

surprised he's sticking it out until April for Monte, one of his favorite tournaments, but not going to play RG. If I were a pro I'd definitely want to enjoy one last slam
