I'm a fan too! He's fiery, he competes, and he's cute! Love that accent. Go Hewie! oh, and he's honest too. Spits it out like a man, none of that phony stuff with Hewitt!

What do you guys think of his incident with Blake at the US a few years ago? That was pretty ugly.

he was a bit rascist, but they figured it out. I dont think hewitt meant anything bad. Anyway, hewitt is awesome and he is gonna make a comeback. He will at least get to the quarters of wimbledon and he will run into nadal or fed.

He played Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, who took Roddick to 4 or 5 sets in the first round of the Australian Open. That guy has a huge serve that will only be bigger on grass. Besides, he lost in two tiebreaks. It's not a horrible loss. I wish he would keep getting deep into Majors though, he's my favorite fighter. He never gives up.

Hopefully he gets a nice draw at Wimby so he doesn't lose points from his quarterfinal appearance last year .

I don't think it was a racist comment. Just because it pertained to race, doesn't mean it was meant in a negative manner. As a black female, if I was getting what I thought were bad calls against, say Sharapova, I sure as heck would think the linesperson was favoring her, who wouldn't? What he said was said in the heat of the moment, and was blown way out of proportion. Hewitt is the man!

A lot of people share your sentiment! But I hope you're wrong. Only an ignorant person would call you a troll for sharing your opinion.

Hopefully not. He still has a great game when he's on, still competition to Nadal like he was at hamburg. Maybe the grass and faster courts will help show his comeback.

he is not racist all the time but at the open wennever he didn't like a shot and the crowd would sheer for his oponent wich i think was gonzales, he would call out stuff like shut up F*****g w***rks and he would go on like that, maybe he is a very competitive player and is how he deals with it but i don't like it.

COMN !!!, I like that. Hewitt Is one of the greatest competitors, I thought he played Nadal very well in Hamburg. It's to bad about the french but lets see what happens in the grass and hard court seasons.

Plus Hewitt's Racquet is Bad ASS. It would be great if he could get back in the top five and contend. We need somebody else in the finals besides fed and that butt picking Nadal, not to take anything away Nadal.

Good link to what Hewitt has accomplished!

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lleyton_Hewitt

Just think, in the last 13 grand slams, the player the beat Hewitt went own to win the tournament. He has 2 grand slams, and 26 titles, not bad for a 26 year old.

Ever since he sued the ATP, he has had extremely hard draws.
