Did anyone catch this? He sits down calmly on the change over, pulls out a completely new unused racquet....takes a peaceful look at the racquet while still in the plastic bag..... and then abruptly smashes the frame violently into the ground as hard as he can, gritting his teeth and fracturing the frame completely... all while still in the bag!! Lol! Absolutely hilarious, i hope he gets a second wind a pushes deep into the AO.

haha I sure did see it. All calm and peaceful at his seat pulling out a new racquet and next thing you know BAM! Then he calmly starts the match again. I just blurted out loud "what the hell?..." hahaha

He wasnt playing well at all until he smashed that new racquet! The second he did that his game completely picked up and he continued to accelerate through the match, it was a definite changing of the tides. Ive never smashed a racquet before, especially a fresh unused racquet. Maybe i should give it a try when im in a pinch. :)

Safin must top this by smashing his bag full of rackets and brake them all to keep his edge.

I saw that. Very funny/strange indeed. Also, I'd like to add that he looks like a ninja turtle with his short hair and headband. Good for him though to pull out a solid, hard fought win.

Until someone has to default a match for breaking all their rackets, Goran is the king in this department :D

Thats the point but not 100% agree with you.

About Tecnifibre raquets, well i can tell you old T -fight 320 is a great piece of engineer, very good comments on this forum about it, about Tecnifibre brand, they showed that they just are a little brand when they switched and change specs about T-fights raquets besides it was success the old version.

About Bagdatis, this is a sign that he is not confortable with T-flash raquets, since he changed he went go down.

    Regards

He should buy a Walmart racket and just smash that instead of his T-Fibres.

Tecnifibre gave him the wrong racquet so he decided to smash it. btw why didn't he just smash the racquet he was using?
