What shorts are kinda long so they would go down to my knees with pockets? I am a little taller than 6 foot and I am in 9th grade but skinny.

Try the Nike Sport Shorts or the Global Sphere Shorts. They both have 9 inch inseams. The Reebok Roddick shorts are long, too.

I miss the days when shorts were shorts and not half-length pants.

Yeah, whatever happened to those short, tight tennis shorts with 2 inch inseams that Borg, McEnroe, Connors, Cash, Edberg, and Lendl used to wear in the '70's and '80's?

BTW, how many think it was Sampras that started the long shorts trend?

Your probably right about Sampras.. I'm glad the nut-hugger days are over, but the long shorts are ridiculous looking imo. If you look closely, I believe the shorter shorts are starting to come back around on the men's tour.

I vote for a compromise. Those 'nut huggers' from the Borg, McEnroe era are way too tight for me but the current look is 'too street' for me aswell. Are people just getting bigger hence the bigger shorts?

anything less than a 6 inch inseam are cherry-chokers. I agree, the puma ones are way too long. hell, on me they'd probably be pants (being 5'9", and all).
