I have tennis elbow, which comes and goes, so I have to be careful.
Would a longer tennis racquet, say 27 1/4 inches instead of the usual 27 inches, worsen tennis elbow? Any medical research on this issue?

Can't imagine that "length" (of all parameters: stiffness, weight, etc.) would help/hinder tennis elbow. Have you tried a full bed of natural gut strings?

Well, the longer stick with put more torque on your arm. Will that extra 1/4" really make a difference? Try choking up 1/4" on your grip for a match or two and report back.

I think frame stiffness, string tension, and technique are much more of a factor than a quarter or half inch of length. .

Yeah, I think that's the right priority, but.... length is a real factor. While I'd give a thumbs up to a few 27.5 frames, (the PK 7G comes to mind) going over 27.5 isn't a good idea if you have arm issues.

The PK 7G is my current frame.

I use the LM 4 with lead tape and really enjoy it....I can go for shots that before I was limited(better serve) and my arm is much better now.....btw I use Lux on them
