thats what the ncode racquet looks like on the underside of the racquet my teacher is demoing one and it looks exactly the same. Thats just the design they chose for it.

All nSix-One racquets have a yellow "PS" painted on the inside of the frame near the center of the head.....therefore that is a real, regular nCode and not a paintjob

After all, they ARE PRO STAFF racquets, although they're not advertised this way.

    18 mains.

Really no way to tell if it's a paintjob or a custom drilled frame from that photo. Everyone's right. LOL - Esp as it's doubtful that any poster (me incl) really knows anything about Koubek, much less his previous frames and set up, unless I missed the big Koubek thread in between the Federer and Roddick posts.

Yes, I don't know anything about Koubek but it's about a 90% chance that he is using whatever he used before with an nCode paintjob. Pros don't switch easily, so you can bet while it's possible some may have suddenly switched, right during grandslam season...most if not all are just using what they always used.

    Totally agree datacipher.
Guess someone had to google this guy after all, and looks there's at least one devoted fan of his:

    http://www.geocities.com/stkoubek/photogalerie.htm

Check out the HPS5.0 stretch he has in the St. Polten photos. That's an 18x19 frame if I recall...same as the Bryans. Makes sense as the homepage photo has Koubek with a "Surge" in hand, again, same as the Bryans were tagged to carry.

    Ok, maybe I didn't specify......

..that is a regular ncode PAINTJOB and NOT an ncode/PS Tour hybrid.... which I think is what this post was all about..

I'm confident that's the same racquet he may have been using before, however at least the Wilson nCode paintjob is consistent.

again, all nSix-One racquets will have the "PS" branded in them since they actually are pro staff racquets

That is definitely a PSC or a HPS 6.1 Stretch because the throat has 6.1/aerodynamic throat. Do not think that he actually used a 5.0 because majority of the 6.1 users(Bjorkman, Canas, Corretja, Kiefer, and others) had a 5.0 pj.

    P.S. 5.0's throat is between a 6.1 and a PureDrive's.

Honestly I don't really care what he is using ;-) But that's good detective work Steve and Swan.
