Hello, I just broke my racquet and thus I am in need of a new one. I am a high school tennis player and play doubles only.

Serve: I generally hit a top spin serve at about 1 o'clock and occasionally I will hit it a bit flatter if I am looking for power

Groundstrokes: I have a moderate to full swing length and hit a consistent top spin forehand and a less powerful two handed back hand. Also I often find myself just counter punching when I play against players who are hard baseliners.

Volleys: I have excellent reach at the net, but my volleys often lack power. Also as a doubles player I obviously want to a racquet that will help with my serve and volley game.

I used to use a Prince Game OS, which worked well for me. I liked the length and the head size gave me the extra pop I need. So I'm looking for a racquet that is somewhat similiar to my old one, with a fairly large head size (110) and emphasizes power slightly more than control.

I am looking to spend $150 or so, but I would prefer to spend a bit less.

Thanks for all the help in advance.

Prince still makes frames of that type -- they're very decent racquets, and not expensive at all ($60-$90 from TW). Check out the ThunderCloud, Scream, Turbo Beast, and Turbo Outlaw. These are very similar to each other -- if you aren't too picky, just choose the one that looks best to you. You might also consider something a little more substantial -- the Warrior OS is very highly regarded, and the extra ounce of weight will give you more stability on your shots once you learn to swing it.
