Can anyone point me in the right direction for a stroke pay-per-analysis. Would like to have a few video clips of my strokes analyzed and corrected. I do this for golf (there are many sites where you can get this done). But searching for tennis sites, I've found one ($60/eval). Think the price is too high (I pay $20 for golf).

Tried to search this forum for previous discussion on this but couldn't find anything - sorry if this thread is redundant.

put it up on youtube for us. later you can still do a professional analysis.

If this is a try to promote a product, this is not the right place to do so.

Advantage of using our free service here is that you will get tough love :)

LeeD will be happy to analyze your videos, and provide a few anecdotes about his personal life in surfing as well, all free of cost.

itusa is run by Rafa Font De Mora, who, for all the other things you may have heard or read about him, is still an excellent tennis coach.

    Cheers

LeeD's analysis usually is 92% spot on.

That is much higher than a pro's first serve percentage, so clearly leed is the GOAT.

If you ask for a video review from ITUSA, Rafa De Mora most likely won't be doing the review. It will be certainly be one of their many associated coaches.

I hope mods don't delete the posts with commercial links in this thread, because I see no competition with TW and this is really a new thing in tennis and cannot be talked about in the abstract for now (unlike say a link to an academy which specializes in forehands).

I also noticed that in the Rackets section, mods have allowed a thread on Babolat rackets created by an official sales representative, and a thread on Wilson 99S playtesting.

Thanks a lot. I google searched and only saw the itusatennis. I think I'll try the last one. Again. Thanks!

As for posting here. I don't think I'll get the same results, but will consider.

The golf analysis uses pro golfers to compare/correct - I think that site does the same. I've bookmarked it just in case the mods decide to delete.

Am I understanding correctly that the VOTSA site only overlays your image with with that of a pro, but doesn't offer personalized feedback? And they're charging $50 a stroke? Doesn't sound like a great deal to me.

    A couple other possibilities:

Christophe Delavaut at Tennis Oxygen charges $100 for an analysis of every stroke: http://www.tennisoxygen.com/content/view/75/61/.

Tae Byon (Lock and Roll Tennis) offers video analysis for a fee, says contact him for details: http://lockandrolltennis.com/blog/category/free-video-analysis/

you might not get the same results but you get it for free. I would post here and then later consider another option.

You might get better results here, and a diversity of viewpoints. In our experience, many experienced recreational players have been found to be better at providing useful advice than several coaches.

that is correct. you can get analysis here that matches the very best commercial stuff.

however that is also mixed with a lot of so-so stuff and even some personal insults:). if you are able and willing to filter that out posting here will give you good information.

the advantage of the commercial stuff is that it is much more structured and doesn't contain conflicting messages.

It is also important to note that you at least need a camera with 60 FPS to get a usefull analysis otherwise a lot of frames will be missing.

IMO a park player can provide better info to another park player. Because he understands park tennis
